Terms of Use

1. Agreement and acceptance

These Terms form a binding contract between you and Catalyst Web Trendz Pvt. Ltd., D 29, 2nd Floor, Greater Kailash Enclave 2, Greater Kailash, New Delhi – 110048, which operates SportzCraazy.in. By loading any page, creating an account, choosing a fan handle, joining a club, posting, predicting, playing a quiz or subscribing to The Huddle, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

They are published as an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not require a physical or digital signature. This is the "terms of use" and "rules and regulations" of the platform for the purposes of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

2. Eligibility and young fans

You must be at least eighteen years old to create your own account. Sport is for everyone, and we welcome younger fans — but anyone under eighteen may use SportzCraazy only with the involvement, and under the supervision, of a parent or lawful guardian who accepts these Terms on their behalf, and only where we have the verifiable parental consent required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We do not knowingly let a child create an account without it. How we treat young fans' data is set out in section 9 of our Privacy Policy.

3. Your account and fan handle

One person, one account. Your account and your fan handle are personal and non-transferable: you may not share, sell, rent or lend your login. When you choose a fan handle or display name, you must not impersonate a player, club, official, journalist, our staff or another member, and you must not choose a handle that is abusive, obscene, misleading, or that infringes anyone's trademark.

You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us immediately at info@catalystwebtrendz.com if you believe it has been compromised. We may ask you to verify your email address before you can post.

4. Predictions, quizzes and Craaze Points — free to play

SportzCraazy is free to join and free to play. Our predictions, polls, quizzes and games are provided purely for fun and bragging rights. This is important, so we say it plainly:

• There is no betting, no wagering, no real-money stakes and no cash prizes. You never pay to play and you never stake anything of value on an outcome.
• Craaze Points (CP), Fire Streaks, tiers and badges are game-progress markers only. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred, redeemed, withdrawn or cashed out, and confer no ownership or financial entitlement. We may adjust, reset or expire them to keep the game fair.
• Our predictions and quizzes are free-to-play games of skill and knowledge played for entertainment and community standing. Skill-based free play of this kind is not gambling, and SportzCraazy is not a gaming, gambling, betting or real-money fantasy platform.

We may correct scores, void a round affected by an error, or change how points are awarded. Nothing you earn in the game is money, and nothing here is a promise of any prize, reward or payout.

5. Community code of conduct

The forums and clubs are for argument, banter and celebration — not abuse. Attack the selection call, the tactics, the refereeing decision; never the person. When you post any content on SportzCraazy, you agree that you will not post, upload or share content that:

• is hateful, harassing, abusive, threatening or bullying, or that targets anyone on the basis of religion, caste, gender, sexuality, region, disability, race or nationality;
• discloses another person's private information ("doxxing"), or invades their privacy;
• is spam, or that repeatedly posts unsolicited advertising, affiliate or referral links, or promotes betting, gambling, real-money gaming or loan apps;
• is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, or harmful to a child;
• is unlawful, infringes anyone's intellectual property, impersonates another person, or spreads deliberate misinformation; or
• coordinates brigading, vote manipulation or a pile-on against a member or a public figure.

These categories track the due-diligence obligations of the Intermediary Guidelines, 2021 and the classes of information a user is not permitted to host. If in doubt, don't post it — flag it instead (section 7).

6. Your content and the licence you grant

You keep ownership of everything you post. Your forum posts, fan stories, comments and reactions remain yours. By posting publicly on SportzCraazy you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt for format, excerpt and syndicate that content in connection with the community, The Huddle newsletter and our social accounts, with attribution to your fan handle.

This licence lets us feature a great fan take on the home page or read a comment out in a watch-along. It survives deletion of your account only for copies already published in an edition or feature; your live posts are unlinked from your handle when you delete your account. You confirm that you own or are licensed to post everything you submit, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the code of conduct.

7. Reporting, moderation, takedown and appeals

SportzCraazy hosts content created by fans. As an intermediary under section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Intermediary Guidelines, 2021, we do not pre-screen every post and we are not the author of user content; but we do moderate, and we act on valid complaints and lawful orders.

Every member can report a post or a member using the report tools. Our moderators may remove content, lock a thread, restrict posting, or suspend or ban an account. Actions are logged with a reason, and where a post is removed the author is notified. In line with the Intermediary Guidelines:

• we acknowledge a grievance within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receipt;
• we act to remove or disable specified categories of unlawful content, and content in the nature of non-consensual intimate imagery, on an expedited basis and within the timelines the Rules require, including within 24 hours of a valid complaint where the Rules so specify; and
• we act on orders lawfully issued by a court or a government authority.

If your content or account is actioned, you may appeal once by writing to the Grievance Officer within thirty days. Appeals are reviewed by someone other than the person who took the original decision, and answered within the grievance timelines above.

8. Intellectual property and trademarks

The SportzCraazy name, logo, "Craaze Points", "Fire Streak", "The Huddle", "Big Match Bunker", our page design, code, illustration and the arrangement of our community features are owned by or licensed to Catalyst Web Trendz Pvt. Ltd. and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. You may not copy, mirror or reuse them without our written permission.

All team names, club names, league names, tournament names, player names and related logos and marks referred to on the site belong to their respective owners. We use them only descriptively, to talk about the sport fans love. SportzCraazy is an independent fan community. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an official product of any sports league, federation, team, broadcaster or player, and nothing on the site should be read as claiming otherwise.

9. Prohibited conduct

In addition to the code of conduct in section 5, you must not: use the site for any unlawful purpose; interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or networks (which would be an offence under sections 43 and 66 of the Information Technology Act, 2000); circumvent a rate limit, ban or moderation restriction; upload malware; scrape or harvest data or content in bulk without our written permission; forge headers or impersonate another user or system; run bots to manipulate polls, quizzes, leaderboards or Craaze Points; use SportzCraazy to promote betting, gambling, match-fixing or real-money gaming; or resell any part of the service.

10. Third-party links

The community links to, and members may post links to, independent third-party websites and services. We do not control those destinations, we do not endorse them, and your dealings with them are between you and them. We accept no betting, gambling, real-money gaming or loan-app advertising anywhere on the site.

11. Disclaimers of warranty

SportzCraazy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We give no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free or free of viruses, or that any prediction, quiz answer, statistic or user post is accurate or complete. Fan-sourced statistics and results are indicative only — see our Disclaimer. Content posted by members is their own and does not represent our views.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any loss arising from your use of the community, from user content, from any prediction or quiz, or from a decision you took on the basis of anything on the site. Because SportzCraazy is free to use, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to ₹1,000. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Catalyst Web Trendz Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees and moderators against any claim, demand, loss or reasonable expense arising out of content you post, your breach of these Terms or the code of conduct, your infringement of any third party's rights, or your misuse of the community.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using SportzCraazy at any time and delete your account from your profile settings. We may suspend, restrict, ban or terminate an account, with notice where practicable, for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms or the code of conduct, for conduct that exposes us or other members to legal risk, or where required by law or a lawful order. On termination, your right to use the community ends and your Craaze Points (which have no value) are forfeited. Sections 6, 8, 11, 12, 13 and 15 survive termination.

15. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before commencing any formal proceeding, both sides agree to attempt to resolve the matter in good faith for thirty days, starting with a written notice to the Grievance Officer at the address below.

Any dispute that is not resolved in that period shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration is New Delhi and the proceedings shall be in English. Subject to the arbitration agreement, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from approaching a consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a competent court.

16. Changes to these terms

We may amend these Terms as the community and the law evolve. Material amendments are posted here with a revised "last updated" date and announced on the site and in The Huddle before they take effect. Continuing to use SportzCraazy after that date is acceptance of the amended Terms.
